The upper part of the cone is crowned with a large frying surface 48 cm wide, which is made of 1 cm thick steel. It has an almost imperceptible slope towards the fire. Its angle is designed in such a way that excess fat and oil can be removed on its own, but the food does not slip off. The grill top is very easy to remove and replace. The working area is sufficient for the simultaneous preparation of several dishes for a large company.

The AHOS OLYMPIC 1000 LOW barbecue hearth does not need any special maintenance at all. To keep it clean, you do not need to use special detergents or cleaning agents. After using the hearth, it is enough to clean its surface with a metal scraper, while food residues will simply fall into the fire. After that, the frying surface must be treated with a cloth soaked in ordinary vegetable oil.
Ashes from burnt wood gradually accumulate at the bottom of the bowl. The volume is enough to clean it once a season, even if the barbecue is used very actively.
